| April 28th 2007, all of
the participants of the 2007 Landmark Dodge Southern Classic Car show were
allowed to participate in a parade lap session around the high banks of
the Atlanta Motor Speedway. I brought some of the Boy Scouts of Troop 162
to help with the show. They really cheered me on as I went around the
track. Unfortunately no minors were allow on the track or I would have let
them all ride with me.
The plan was to run three laps at
70mph leaving a 4 car length following distance. There must have
been 100 cars on the track because as soon as I entered, traffic was
already all the way around the track. It was still a blast! If
