NASCAR Dodge Charger
Brakes
| My Charger has
disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. I replaced the calipers and
wheel cylinders, the shoes, pads and spring hardware. I replaced the worn
rear drums and had the discs turned by Andy the Mopar specialist at the
local Discount Auto Parts. |

Bleeding the
brakes was the next step. Unfortunately I wasn't getting any pressure
beyond the proportioning valve. The lines were very rusty as well so a
call to Inline Tube got me a new
set of lines and pro valve on the way. Discount Auto Parts had a new
Master Cylinder so I should be good to go, or actually good to stop! |
