| The big day has finally
arrived. Both Phillip and I have been looking forward to this day for some
time. Phillip really poured on the hospitality. He created a flyer
announcing their "New Arrival would be here soon" and invited
his neighbors and other friends from his "Car Crazy" car club to
come and enjoy share in the celebration.
The Shuppel's had drinks and a
specially decorated cake. His lap top was set up in the garage with a sign
saying "View the total restoration here." Phillip
went for a test drive then parked his 39 in the drive for all to
enjoy. Friends and neighbors passed through all afternoon.
I can't explain how grateful I am
for this party. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the car. Gail
thought we should have add air conditioning. |
